8 AM final, ouch (but it's a mixed blessing)
I checked my final schedule this morning since I'm planning on calling Lee in the hopes of getting a ride back with her again for the Winter break after finals. So I was pretty sure I knew when my finals all were when I came to school today and fairly happy about the times of the finals since they were all at reasonable times.
...but then I got to my Financial Accounting class. The Final Schedule says that the final for that class should be from 12 - 1:50 PM on Friday of Finals week, which is two weeks from today. My Financial Accounting teacher said that we'll be having the final at 8 AM on Thursday of finals week. Which sucks because I remember being a zombie for my 8 AM Music Appreciation Final and that was a fairly easy class. Having an 8 AM final for my hardest class pretty much guarantees that I'll do worse on it than I would if it was during the normal final schedule.
However, it's a mixed blessing because this means that I won't have any finals on Friday of finals week so I might be able to leave town earlier. I'd still rather have it later though since I'd probably do better if it were at 12 PM than 8 AM. I'm not liking my chances for getting the B as much as I used to, but oh well, I'm pretty sure I'll still pass the class. (I'm so hopeful that the Managerial Accounting classs will be more to my liking.)
Still at school. Now to see whether I shall go straight home or buy a ticket to next week's Joan Baez concert. Decisions, decisions. It's on a Wednesday night, which makes the decision harder than it would be otherwise. I'd definitely go and would have bought a ticket a long time ago if it were on a Friday night. However, I'll have turned in my giant Software Engineering term paper the day of the concert, so it'd be a good excuse to celebrate.
Oh, and I don't think I mentioned the update to the camera situation. I emailed them on Tuesday night and got a response the next morning. They said they're waiting on a lens assembly from Fuji and should have it ready next Wednesday. They also said that they're doing their best to get everything back before Christmas break, which is a good sign. The email said to email them back if I don't hear anything from them by next Wednesday, which is what I'm going to be doing. Hopefully I'll get my camera back and it working condition early next week.
