The managers were going around today asking people if they could come in at a different time than their regular shift for Monday and Tuesday.  I just thought it was a shift adjustment.  Meaning that they didn't have enough people to cover 7:30 - 11, but that they were good for later in the evening ( Read more... )

Well I found out what my schedule is.  It was actually either my 31 or 32 choice.  which isn't too bad.  It is flex 11-12, which means that I will be coming in between 11 and 12 every day and working until 6 or 7.  And my new day off is Wednesday.  It's weird because Audrey wanted Wednesdays off and she had a lower bid number than this other guy ( Read more... )

5:15 am comes very early. I have decided I need to try to go to bed earlier. I have been going to bed at about 11:30/12. But I have decided that the reason I have been going to bed that late isn't really necessary. I was taking my b.c. pill at 11:30, but after Rob's suggestion I'll take it at 9. Well I left actually 20 minutes to 5, so I got there 10 minutes before 5, I'm trying to figure out how to get to the back to clock in, I go around the outer perimiter (thought about going through the back passageway, but decided that'd be taking me too far out of the way) and they're paging the whole time for all the 5 AM cashiers to clock in. uh ( Read more... )

The schedule for the week of Thanksgiving finally went up today. I have Thanksgiving off. But the rest of the week I'm coming in at 5, 5:30, 6, or 6:30 AM. Yes. I am not kidding.
