Just as I expected, October has flown by. It's almost the end of the month already.
I have been playing Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility like nobody's business. I'm into the autumn of my 2nd year in the game. I have at least one of each of the animals (except horse because it's useless in this game because you can get an ostrich which provides the same function and is also a producing member of your ranch.)
I have more money than I know what to do with at the moment (well I could always continue upgrading my house and furniture I suppose. and buy up the rest of the available land plots. I just don't have time in the game to work all of those land plots and still do the other parts of the game).
Basically, I really like this game. I've always been a fan of Harvest Moon though.
Work is going OK. The new schedule is still kind of kicking my butt a little. I'm just too much of a night person and it's too hard for me to get to bed at a "reasonable" time.
Also work related, last month I mentioned I met my sales goals. Well I am just one product away from meeting my goals this month. I'm confident it will happen. I need to get my act together earlier next month so that I'm not pushing it at the end of the month panicking trying to get that last item or two.
I love that the weather has gone so cool and crisp. I love autumn.
Main problems I've had (which are minor) is that I left my StrongBad hoodie in my car since Spring and it has sun faded in some areas. So it's kinda grey/brown where the sun faded it. That was sad. Other problem is that apparently my long sleeved shirts are really short waisted. I mean I vaguely remember that from in the Spring when I bought them. But it seems really bad right now! I'm constantly tugging on the bottoms because I feel like they're riding too high and I know no one wants to see my belly.
Actually all my shirts seem to be doing that for the most part. So I must have gained some weight. bleh. The whole sitting to work and inactivity does take its toll on you!
Comedy has turned out to be quite the climber. She prefers to be high on top of things. She's constantly sitting/laying on the top of the TV (which makes me terribly nervous!) and two nights ago she climbed to the top of my "dresser tower" and last night went from there to the top of the closet door. Now, my dresser isn't your average sized dresser. It is about 7 or 8 Sterlite/Rubbermaid drawer things stacked on top of one another (the bottom 4 are my clothes. The top ones are some of Rob's clothes.) Maybe whenever we get a house we can get Comedy a nice tall cat tree or something. I said that even if I was OK with our cats being indoor/outdoor (which I'm not OK with that. it was really hard when we were living with Rob's family and all the cats were indoor/outdoor) Comedy can definitely NEVER go outside because she will climb to the tippy top of a tree and get stuck.
Nothing else to say really I guess. Just wanted to throw that quick update in.
