Schedule revealed
Well I found out what my schedule is. It was actually either my 31 or 32 choice. which isn't too bad. It is flex 11-12, which means that I will be coming in between 11 and 12 every day and working until 6 or 7. And my new day off is Wednesday. It's weird because Audrey wanted Wednesdays off and she had a lower bid number than this other guy who also got 11 -12 wed and me, but she got Tuesday off instead. I just wonder if she had her bid off somewhere because it just doesn't make sense why we would have gotten something that should have been higher on her list. Unless because it was a later schedule she had it lower on her list. I don't know.
I don't really care. Rob said that it sucked. I'd rather have that shift than a 5 or a 5-6 flex. As for the Wednesday off... meh. whatever. I'll take the Wed vacation day off of my August vacation and throw it on the Saturday where my December vacation is. Kind of still thinking that I probably don't need that much time, but if we're going to Buffalo in december (which seems kind of crazy to go to the bitter north in December of all times, but hey, if that's what Rob wants to do...) it might be helpful to have the extra days. Also being that it is december and I don't know when we might be able to get Christmas visiting done otherwise, it might be good to have an extra long vacation to do "early christmas."
Rob's sleeping... He's been asleep I don't know how long. I woke him up at about quarter to 6 since I'd been home for a while. Maybe about an hour or so. We talked briefly. I told him my new schedule. and then he rolls over and goes back to sleep. I contemplated working on dinner, but I really don't know what to make. What I started to do is all well and good, but probably not enough by itself. So I snacked and I guess I'll wait.
The only real sucky thing about my new schedule is that I have a new manager and a new coach. And of course, it's the ones I would really rather not have. Linda (my former coach) is my new manager. And Creepy Gary is my new coach. The plus side to being on his team is that his team color is black. And that's about it. Well also he seems to be not very involved, so maybe he won't bug me. And, it's only for 3 months. haha that's what I keep telling myself. Just 3 months.
We're going to be moving desks soon. I'm not looking forward to moving all my stuff. It won't be that bad, but I'm just feeling like I'm getting a routine and then it has to change.
I guess that's all for now. I guess I'll play some DS or something.
