I've officially been on vacation for a week now, but that didn't stop work from calling. Twice. Thankfully, Gothcruise is just 2 days away.

sarahredhead dropped me off at the airport this morning and I'm currently in Omaha, NE visiting Autumn. Tomorrow I'm hopping on a plane bound for Fort Lauderdale, and then Monday is cruise time!

Do not write and debug code intensively for 6 hours with little social interaction, and then immediately go to a foreign language class.

Friday night I trotted down to the Harp to participate in the usual shenanigans at Tony's performances. Before the set started, I ran into a couple of Irish fellows by the name of Tony and Patrick at the bar.

It's not the Guinness I need, actually... it's the pub songs. Having been without for a couple weeks, I'm well overdue.

Tonight it's Tony in Carlsbad.

Tomorrow has Tony playing at the Harp in OB and the O'Brien Brothers at Dublin Square in downtown. Yeah, tough choice there considering how much I enjoying dealing with downtown. Tony it shall be.

My tolerance for stupid this week has long since been exhausted. I'm in desperate need of a night or two of craic. Probably three but lets start with two and go from there.

Tonight (Thursday), I'm going to be up in Carlsbad for Tony's O'Sullivan's show. Then Friday will be another round of The O'Brien Brothers down at Dublin Square.

Last night at O'Sullivan's (formerly known as Tom Giblins) I ran into a friend of the O'Briens. He came up to me and said, "You're Ducky, right? Yeah, I remember you from Hennessey's." Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the fellow. =/
