Aside from the initial OMG thought when the alarm went off @ 5:30am, and my reluctance to get out of bed (two smacks on the snooze button lol), the day went fine.  Busy at work, but still managed to do OK on half a pain pill.  I now have 31 days worth of half pills, and 35 days of work.   So at least I'll only have to really suffer that last week ( Read more... )

My car overheated BIG time coming home from the gran's gymnastics session (I refuse to call an hour of jumping around a lesson), after nursing it to the AC's house carefully, I added water and that helped.  Wasn't that long ago I had a blow out with the radiator hoses and had the damn thing filled, so now I have to wonder what else is leaking!??  ( Read more... )

Hubby came home tonite, and announced that in two weeks he will no longer be working for CBC of Brevard.

He's been laid off.
