Getting a spectacular amount of nothing done so far this vacation.  I did manage to clean my bathroom (thank-god) and our bedroom.  Well mostly, still a couple of baskets of clean clothes needed to be folded/put away but am procrastinating that till tomorrow.  Still a vast improvement over the multiple piles o'crap, wrapping paper, shopping bags, ( Read more... )

A pleasant day all around, got to sleep in a bit and relax before heading over to the mother in law @ 10:30-ish.  Crash went over early to prepare for breakfast, home made banana and monkey breads, Starbucks coffee and all I had to do was show up!  LOL

So the school year has ended, and the granddaughter did pretty well.  She won two awards in school, one for social studies and one for math, she also won first place (for her grade level) in a McDonalds essay contest, "Why my family is important to me", and got a laminated award and a free happy meal.  Then on the last day of school she came home ( Read more... )

I have a love hate relationship with Saturdays.  I love them, no getting up at buttcrack of dawn and going to work, I can sleep in and if I don't want to, I don't have to leave the house.  On the other hand, most of the time I am stuck doing all the stuff I didn't get done during the week, especially the laundry.  bleh.
