Nothing new on the neighborhood hoodlum front, thankgoodness.  Hopefully they're in the process of moving, at the very least they've moved on to other prey.

Had a call on my voice mail Easter Sunday, my cousin was looking for me.  Wasn't sure he had the right number and left a message, evidently he is here at PAFB for some schooling (he's Coast ( Read more... )

all mysteries. All hardbacks but the smaller kind, still hate them but as they were the same price as paperbacks... and I really only ever got as far as the hard backs.

I got a copy of Definitely Dead to post on PBS.com, it got snatched up pronto. For myself I got:

The Peach Cobbler Murder - Joanne Fluke
Dead Roots - Nancy J. Cohn
Carbs and Cadavers - J.B. Stanley

and I kid you not... I Dreamed I Married Perry Mason by Susan Kandel. LOL I also have Not A Girl Detective (Nancy Drew being the theme there) which I haven't read yet.

The books the gran nabbed were: strawberry shortcake, My little pony princes (natch), some other princess book, and a little throwaway book I have no idea what it was but she had to have it.

wonder where she gets *that* from?

*bats eyelashes*

*giggles* Way to influence the next generation!

Sounds like a blast - and I'm jealous of the books! DANG!

You really need to read "Temping Fate." Oh, and I'm buying you "Fragile Things" when it comes out in paperback.

Shut up, I am.

me too.

I never warmed up to Ironside... but I always loved Perry Mason both in the 60's and later the made for tv movies in the 80's.

Gotta love a man with a snazzy theme song.

Ahhhh. Perry Mason.

I may get those one day. I'm a big Columbo
fan, and have 4 seasons of that. Lots of
people on it who have passed on now.

I remember what it's like to want to squash
teenagers. As it is now, I miss the noise.

But not that much. LOL. I do miss the boys
though. 32 and 26. Where the hell did the
years go?

Maybe I'd better drop in on them tomorow.
Nothing like a MOM surprise on a Sunday. ;)

It's more chaos than noise, although there is some of that too (turn that *bleeping* music down!!!) but frankly I could stand to miss it for a little while. I haven't lived in a kid free home in 25 yrs and frankly it's getting a tetch old.

The family members that live furthest away are always the angels, doesn't it seem? My grandma bitched about all of us, because we were two doors away, so she saw us all the time. The cousins that lived an hour away were gold-plated - or at least it seemed that way. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors. That's why it's so nice to get together with those cousins years later.
