I've been feeling all sorts of wanderlust-y lately largely due to watching The Brothers Bloom (which was filmed entirely in Eastern Europe) twice in one week. I got my computer back on Tuesday. The computer being gone for a solid week was not so great but the fact that it came back with the video card fixed (which means a new logic board, which is like it having a new brain), a new dvd drive, and a 320gb hard drive (200 gb more than before) all for just the price of the upgraded hard drive (and that even ( Read more... )

The video card on my laptop died on Monday night so it starts bit the screen stays blank. Not terribly useful for working. I've sent it off to Apple for repair, but until it comes back Fri. or Mon.
