(no subject)
The video card on my laptop died on Monday night so it starts bit the screen stays blank. Not terribly useful for working. I've sent it off to Apple for repair, but until it comes back Fri. or Mon. I can't work. But, thanks to my very awesome friend S who had an iPod touch that he got free and didn't want I can now check email and Lj etc. on the pod. It's pretty damn great. And now I can test out all the iPhone features before I decide if I want to get one. I must say, I'm pretty impressed with it so far.
In other news T and I have been mainlining House. We've been watching at least two eps a night for the last two weeks and most night 3 or 4. I fucking love it and I may actually be falling in love with House. I always said I wasn't interested 'cause Hugh Laurie would always be Bertie Wooster to me but I'm here to tell you how you should never say never in fandom. And the really really great thing about House (besides the wonderful snark and banter with Wilson) is that T and I are both equally obsessed with it. It's so fun! In so many ways.
So, no computer and constant rain but life is still pretty damn good. And now I'm gonna eat the yummy pork & brocholli T just cooked, have a glass of wine and watch House.
