Fun stuff.


Lying technology seems to be a big thing at TED.  I wonder why that is.

This appeals to me on two levels when I start thinking about it.

One is the basics of quantum physics, which I am still largely unable to grasp, even after 25 years of passive study.

Especially the part about squid and bioluminescence.  Not just how does that particular bacteria do it, but how does the squid know?  I mean, I have never seen a squid in a molecular biology class.
