Will became sick on Tuesday, the first day of school. He hasn't been back since, and is now behind in his work. I spent two hours this afternoon teaching him Japanese, and gosh, he's such a good pupil. He's like a sponge, eager to soak up any information that comes his way. Why does it bother me so much that Korean uses the Chinese writing system as part of their language? I should be thankful, that, if god forbid, I ever finish learning the common Kanji (Hanja, Pinyin...whatever), that I'd be able to semi-get around Korea and/or China.
