Well, OK, I don't know about Smeagol's present status, but we have been shovelled out of our driveway. I can go to work! I can go to Farpoint! Wa hoo!

Off work today, just doing the voice mail thing from time to time. We're supposed to be dug out sometime this afternoon, so I can work tomorrow, pick up terri_osborne at the train station and then it's Farpoint time! The one good thing about the awning coming down - it's the only thing here that really could come down. The roof is pitched, and everything else around here has 4 points of support. We have a metal awning over our side porch. Or rather, we used to have an awning there. There was so much ice and snow on it that it was sagging dangerously. ETA - Mom's bridge game has been postponed. Until June. Should be safe then...hurricane?
