The suckage of 2016 has continued, with my foot still hurting, job insanity, weather, etc. Last week a couple not so bad things happened - won $40 in the lotter, won the first two rounds of playoffs in trivia (although reverted to mediocrity in the finals), and my job finally became permanent as of Friday. 2015 has pretty much sucked for me, start to finish, and it's finishing with a kick. I'm still not a permanent employee. My mother doesn't know who I am any more. Yes, it's true. For the first time in 5 years, I did art. And reminded myself, painfully, why I quit in the first place. The doctor tells me I've developed carpal tunnel despite not having a job and doing a whopping one piece of art. Dammit.

Things aren't so great for me physically, of late. I've somehow developed what the doctor thinks is carpal tunnel in my right hand (How?
