I. It was sunny when I woke up this morning so naturally I assumed that summer was briefly returning. I threw on a black dress (and a belt! It snowed today, but it was warm out and there was no wind and the snow was so pretty and soft and fluffy. Things looked all magical and pretty - kind of what Hollywood imagines snow looks like. It will not last, but I approved!

According to Environment Canada's forecast, the temperature today is not expected to rise above -20, with a windchill making it feel like -39 in the morning and -30 in the afternoon. The city issues a frostbite warning when a windchill of -35 or colder is predicted, because at those temperatures, exposed skin can freeze in as little as 10 minutes. ( Read more... )
