+ Belief is now amplified by about 25%.  What this means is that it will take 1) less people Believing something to make it happen and 2) Belief will work faster.  It will still require more than an offhand remark for something to have an effect, but characters will still want to watch what they say.  We're not going ( Read more... )

Since Tyrol has taken quite a beating in the past few weeks, the crown has re-instituted a semi-annual tradition. The Harvest Festival usually follows a particularly bountiful autumn, but this year it's being used as a pick-me-up for the city. Tomorrow night at supper, Lord Vidar Bercator and his siblings Zisa, Frey and Var, as well as all the guests at their table, were served poisoned wine. None survived. This afternoon, a guardsman with a posse of armed citizens combed the streets, looking for anyone who is suspected of being an Other.
