[mod post] harvest festival
Since Tyrol has taken quite a beating in the past few weeks, the crown has re-instituted a semi-annual tradition. The Harvest Festival usually follows a particularly bountiful autumn, but this year it's being used as a pick-me-up for the city. The last Harvest Festival was four years ago and should be thought of with nostalgia by anyone who was around to take part in it. Unlike the Fest of the Green, the Harvest Festival has no parades or ceremonies, it's just a time for you to do what you like with anyone you like.
The Festival is set up just outside of Tyrol. Anyone who would like to can put up a tent and sell their wares. As it is generally a celebration of how well the farmers have done in the past year, produce is the norm, but since this year is more about boosting morale, crafts and game stations are welcomed. Fortune-tellers and love potion makers will inevitably sneak in, but since the festival surrounds the entire city, it's hard for the guard to catch them. If you want some nefarious magical gadget, now's the time to buy it!
However, the Festival is only active after sundown. The gates of the city will open at dusk and close near dawn. During the day, vendors are responsible for packing up their tents or, well, accepting that their shit's gonna get stolen without any guards around.
Please have fun! Go catch goldfish and buy jars of jam for your sweetheart. Ginga and I promise we'll only torture you guys at the end of the event.
