- A week and a half ago neurosophy decided to use one of the spare bedrooms in my house, a proposition which has been going well so far. It's also spurred me into a little bit of activity: I finally got around to cleaning up my bedroom, arranging to trash some furniture I've been meaning to get rid of since Scott left and a few smaller decluttering projects. - After I trimmed my trees a week or two ago, on Friday astute_reason helped me finish enough yardwork to make my lawn halfway presentable. (My lawn mower gave up the ghost a month ago; we were able to use his dad's mower.) In fact, thanks to some quality time with the weed whacker, my sidewalk is probably as wide as it's been in the last five years. Speculation

- My mom went home today! I'm pretty surprised that it happened on a Sunday, but apparently her doctors agreed to take out the drain they'd had put in her and didn't see fit to keep her in the hospital. All she has to do now is fill some prescriptions and make appointments with each doctor in turn.

- Scott, astute_reason and I saw The A-Team last Monday, and our lives were changed forever. It could very well be the greatest achievement in the history of motion picture arts & sciences. Hypermasculine yet not distasteful, it's pretty much the Platonic form of Shit Blowin' Up Real Good, which isn't something I typically go for but is so damned gleeful here
