• After I trimmed my trees a week or two ago, on Friday astute_reason helped me finish enough yardwork to make my lawn halfway presentable. (My lawn mower gave up the ghost a month ago; we were able to use his dad's mower.) • My mom went home today! I'm pretty surprised that it happened on a Sunday, but apparently her doctors agreed to take out the drain they'd had put in her and didn't see fit to keep her in the hospital. All she has to do now is fill some prescriptions and make appointments with each doctor in turn.
