Procrastination is bad. I had forgotten to sign up for choir this session. Luckily, Jeanne (choir director) told me to talk to the director of the community ed office because they are letting returnees in even though the class is full. As I sit, eating a popcicle on an 85 degree day.  I realized that I am grateful for the ability to sweat.  The alternative is not pleasant.

The birds are loud around 4:30am. Stupid birds.

There is one really loud one that sits in the trees in my backyard with the soul desire of waking me up. After about a half hour, it moves to a neighbor's tree, but you can still hear it.

I finally have a cell phone again.  Yay!!    It is blue.  Yay for blue cell phones!!!

While I was on the phone with a friend today, I was inspecting the ends of my hair looking for split ends and such (the folks who have had long hair will understand). I found a gray hair ( Read more... )

Woke up at 5:00 again this morning because I heard Squishy fussing. I listened some more and he was quiet again. I did hear a Guinea pig noisily chomping what sounded like an empty bottle. That doesn't usually bother Squishy but I thought maybe I should sneak in and fill the bottle but I was worried about waking Squishy ( Read more... )

Just had an odd thought. What if we are all just extended generations on a alien reality tv show? Sort of a Truman Show meets Survivor kind of deal.

I am sure that tons of authors have had this idea as well. Not to mention certain religions. What books or movies can you think of that play with this kind of idea.

Today is such a beautiful day. The sun is shining, the kids are singing and it is in the 40's. Fantastic Weather for Minnesota in January. The only downside is that I have to wash Squishy's snuit and socks because mud puddles are FUN ( Read more... )

As my eldest was getting ready to break into a box of Fruity Pebbles (In my defense, this was a treat, we have been cutting back on the sweetened stuff), I, on a whim decided to ask her who Fred Flintstone was.
