Am currently snowed in at Mom's and internet connection is spotty, to say the least.

The good news is that I finally convinced my mother that I am not determined to move home because I think she is incompetent and I am not doing so out of some sense of guilt/obligation/whatever she imagines and I am not sacrificing my life to watch out for her.
