Last year for Christmas I decided to paint a plain white piggy bank as Batman for my older brother's Christmas present. I've never painted ceramics before so there was a bit of learning curve but at least now I know for next time. Hubby Fred and I are old-fashioned geeks: we have caved to the cellphone era, but have the most basic phones available, and we use them for nothing but making phone calls. A little while ago I had a Batman-themed week on my blog. Well it went really well, but I couldn't wrap it up as epicly as I had hoped because I awesomely timed it the same week I was making bridesmaid dresses for my friends wedding. ANYWAY. What I did accomplish was some epic necklaces and a tutorial.
