Books or websites about succulents?

My new yard
I just moved this winter and now that spring is coming in, I uncovered what the previous owners had planted. I'm not sure what some of it is though because apart from container roses and a few houseplants, I'm new to gardening. I live in Iowa, zone 5.

Help? Aporocactus
My first time posting here!
Anyway, my aporocactus is turning kind of red and I don't know why!
My other cacti are fine, but my favorite baby is sick, I think D:

Okay, so do you guys remember my aloe? Well, it doesn't look like that so much now... I'm not sure that certain if it's from too much sun or not enough water, but the leaves on it are appearing pretty... thin. Mystery Houseplant ID
I have no clue what these are. They do flower on rare occasions and have a tendency to sprawl. I'd like to cut them back to manageable proportions and get rid of the sickly looking parts, but I don't want to kill them.
