We have two types of Barrel cacti, among several types and/or species of other cacti, including three types of Prickly Pear cacti and Hedgehog Cluster cacti as well as Claret Cup cacti. My dear beloved Christmas Cactus, that I've had forever, had two arms fall off of it today. Help! What's going on, and how do I save it?

EDIT: The arms look green, I don't see any disease. The plant just finished flowering.

Hi, everyone!

This is my first post here. I don't think I'm very good at growing plants.... but that's because most of the plants I've ever grown were when I was young and they all ended up getting eaten by my cats!! D:

 Okay, so I'm a little worried about Julius and the sun-colored Oriental Moon I have. While the Moon question can be answered here, Julius probably requires some hands-on examining. I can't figure out if he's got overwatering damage (from months back) at his base or if it's withering, which I doubt (he went years either with very little water or no ( Read more... )
