In an attempt to divert thoughts elsewhere: you know you're a bit too much of a Sandman geek when you realize the story you're writing could totally be interpreted as casting Claire, Peter, and Adam as maiden, mother, and crone.

Unless I'm reading way too much into it, which I probably am, but isn't that the point, really?

To reiterate, but also to elaborate upon: this has been the best Christmas ever.

Dinner was amazing (my mom is a better cook than yours--thrice-cooked duck with roast potatoes and then persimmon pudding with pear sauce for dessert, bitches), and then we watched It's a Wonderful Life, which, oddly enough, I had never seen before. Very charming. Jimmy ( Read more... )
