I can already tell that I'll have insomnia. Have you ever had a night like that? Where you knew that you wouldn't be able to sleep even though you're feeling perfectly normal. You can sense that little burst of energy on the edge of your conciousness that will come out the moment that you lay your head down on the pillow.

The kids were really sick on Thursday which made things considerably more difficult. The girl slept for about three hours straight in the afternoon which left me with nothing to do an incredibly bored. I found a really cool hotel that I'm trying to convince Sara and Crystal to stay at when we go to Japan next year. It's a Buddhist temple that hosts guests in Kyoto. I think it would be a relaxing place to stay for a couple of days and it'd be good to follow the early to bed, early to rise type of attitude they apparently have. They also provide ( Read more... )

So, my absolute failure with money has led me to buy a lockbox which half of my check will be going into and I will not be allowed to have the key. I honestly thing I enjoy the feeling of spending money more than I enjoy the things that I actually get. This was a necessary step, but I must admit I'm feeling a little resentful.
