Hayden has just had the most significant weekend of his life so far. He can't say what happened, because he doesn't exactly know yet, and because it's not the sort of thing he wants to post on here, but he appologises if he's a bit odd with any of you as a result.

I had a reasonably good weekend at Metanoia, enjoying Friday night dinner with friends, but then developing a sore throat on Saturday. We had the Christmas party with singing , dancing and much foolishness on Saturday evening, followed by drinks in the pub and then home to my B+B at midnight. So I'm back from my first training weekend of the year and I'm re-engaged with the whole "becoming a therapist" type thing.

A lot of the weekend was about administration and so was a bit dull, but the theory we did do was really engaging.

Tomorrow I drive to Ealing. I have a seminar on how to us supevision from 18:30 until 21:30, then I'm going to dinner with some of the trainees from msc1 and 2, and then on Saturday morning I start my second year of training to become a Gestalt Psychtherapist. I've already arranged for a placment in Birmingham, working in a GP surgery, I have my ( Read more... )

I have a new phone which was delivered today, a Nokia E51 so I've been able to use it as an intermittent distraction from the pain and monotony that is the creation of my portfolio which I need to have ready to hand in on Saturday morning hence my reason for taking today off work.
