SleepSo 2011 was pretty bad, but in a fair chunk of it I was stumbling around in a haze because I just plain wasn't getting any sleep. And sleep debt is really, really, hard on me. I am not sure I am actually recovered from all of the sleep problems ( Read more... )

I don't like posting before trips with HI I AM GOING TO BE GONE but now we are back from Solvang, CA, a Danish town. I am still so very tired, sleeping all the time. Yesterday's allergy shots didn't help even though I had them reduce the dose; I was amazingly sick afterwards, though no bad reactions at least, just aches/crashing ( Read more... )

We just did a week-and-a-bit long trip which I didn't post about much in advance because I am *silly* and was amazingly sick for the time leading up to us. I also did not get us cellphones before the trip which made it a lot harder logistically. Yet we survived!

We just returned from a second trip to Seattle, for sad reasons. Brad's grandfather had leukemia and passed away recently. I am very grateful that we were able to visit him when he was feeling better, and even go out to eat with him (his favorite food, clam chowder).
