My husband went to Australia to do promo/press for the upcoming release of his video game. The marketing team at the studio office there was so thankful that he was willing to make the trek and spend a week with them, that I got a gift too! How did they know??? Hahahaha!

Embroidering with silk threads, especially on silk satin fabric, really requires smooth hands and a reasonable manicure.

Hubby's birthday is tomorrow and I've been working on a Kindle cover for him. It's not a surprise though because I wanted to embroider his logo on the cover and wanted to collaborate on that. Wow. Has it really been a week already? I've been enjoying a leisurely pace, but looking back, I really got a lot done!

Our neighbours went home to the UK to get married. I'm working on a little Xmas/wedding gift for them. I'm starting to do a little pixel art too, so this has been a great project. I think it's so cute and wee!

My sister gave me several balls of vintage mohair from our mom's de-stash before a big move. I spent some time thinking about what to do with it, and finally settled on doll sweaters for my nieces. It feels good to be creating things again. I've been easing back in by tackling my UFOs, and using the stash to sew gifts for my nieces and nephew.
