August 24, 2006: The International Astronomical Union strips Pluto of its planetary status. The group says a planet must, among other things, have "cleared the neighborhood around its orbit." Wrote as much down as I could. now I need a new notebook. Not writing in that one again. *brr* even if it is incoherent and shaky. Dear god, where the heck did that one come from?

Well, it may be that my annual Winter Gloom faded after the Solstice, as usual. But this week I've had my moments. I read through H G Wells' stuff recently. Something interesting with the CBC News coverage of the election campaign : they have a series of 'diary entries' from a mysterious insider, read aloud in a slot on the evening news.
