I’m just wondering, as I’m sitting here listening to Florence and the Machine, who here listens to music as they write? Do they find it calming or annoying? Distracting or helpful background noise that drowns out the rest of the world so you can concentrate on that story?

I’m now in St. Louise, and wow do these old buildings look rough! Some of them have clearly been around for ages, and the one that my sister is thinking of getting a loft/apartment in has been around since 1929 or so.
