We spent this week preparing for an SCA event - The Great Southern Gathering... a weekend of A&S classes and rapier. We had a housesitter who did a wonderful job; she even washed her sheets and emptied the bins! wow!
We had some house guests for the week. The previous weekend was Prova Dura which we could not attend.

Today I am going to redo my pattern for this year's ACG Ball, I am collating pics for a Harry Potter costume for the opening of the movie in November and should get material washed, but it is wet and windy and the material is not tough...

In the past week, I have added the button loops and sewn in the lining, to add a 4th layer. Today I sewed on the final pewter button. I bought these a couple of years ago. All done. Now to work on a coif/hood.
