Every time I write "doppelganger" in my story notes because of there being multiple alternate universes and thus multiple variations on the same character, I find myself remembering that a true doppelganger is more like the ghost of a living person, and I get annoyed. Anyone have any alternative terms I can use instead of doppelganger?

Pokemon Go is doing this thing now where, at least until Halloween (dunno if after or not), ghost type pokemon are much more plentiful.
