Clickbait
Every time I click on one of these links to a web page that turns out to be clickbait that you have to click through 100 different pages to finally get to the content they were clickbaiting you for, I fucking close the tab the moment I realize that that's what that is. I just don't have the spoons for that kind of emotional labor. And even if I did, I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of getting the extra clicks.
By the way, is there a term for websites like that?
