Elie Saab is an evening gown sort of designer; I'm surprised that so few Hollywood starlets have come to rely on these gowns to get them through the Award season. Many of Saab's designs were on trend, but others were very confusing and seemed off.

Gaultier's showing was excellent; this time his globe-traveling muse plopped him down in Greece, and his collection showcased many aspects of ancient Grecian dress. Metallic glints shone throughout, although not always in the best of taste.
