Couture Spring 2006: Valentino
Valentino's desert-inspired collection was fantastic. The craftmanship was superb; the draping and fit is unrivaled. Everything was light and airy and perfect for spring.

...with a twist.
(These outfits are rather on the matronly side, but so, I imagine, is much of Valentino's clientele.)
Spring polka-dots.
Ruffle McPowerShoulders.
Cute little garden party dress.
A frightning variation on leggings.
Thankfully, if there's any leggings, NO ONE CAN SEE THEM.
Almost an Oscar gown, but it's too day-time.
An older actress would wear this to the Oscars.
Doesn't this make you think of a harem girl, circa 1960's, in a campy show, possibly the old Batman TV show?
