I have no idea how things are going with Sarah, she did say a few interesting things about relationship steps with Graham vs her ex, and how she opened up to him and he used it all against her when he tried to have her committed in order to keep her house. On Wednesday morning I was glad to take Alex to Ladybirds, then I went home to do some more garden demolishing. I need to keep my end up as Simon is doing such a good job on the edgings! Simon and I took Alex to the hospital on Friday morning to have his testicles checked, and they are fine. The consultant said that as he could bring the "missing" one down without causing Alex any discomfort, the muscles that are causing it to retract should relax as it gets heavier with age. When we got back on Sunday evening I found the fruit bowl full of water, and it quickly became clear that this was due to a leak from the boiler, as the kitchen wall was soaking wet too and the wood work was peeling. It was an odd weekend as Mum wasn't around on Saturday, and Panther has cystitis again, so Simon took him to the vet and I trailed around after Alex for the day. It was quite fun, we spent the morning watching the load all put the mechanism on the yard crane, then the afternoon bimbling round and playing with the weighbridge grannies. We had a thrilling trip round Sainsbury's on Tuesday morning. However, Alex was brilliant. He walked half of it without grabbing lot of stuff and did as he was told, he didn't hit anyone with the spatula we bought, but we did accidentally shop lift a bag of oats as he was using it as a pillow! We had equal numbers of volunteers and parents at Earwigs, not bad for the weather conditions! We spent some time outside with spray bottles full of food colouring, turning the snow interesting colours. Alex did bite Grace again, not good after Monday's effort.
