Lorisa and Sonny were married back in March at Fresno City Hall, but this trip home was the first time I was able to go out and take a few of photos of them.  Sonny is set to deploy to Afghanistan with the U.S. Navy this Friday and won't be returning until June of next year, so it was especially important to me that Lorisa have some photos with her ( Read more... )

The other night my dad asked me to photograph the Veterans' parade in downtown Riverside.  He specifically wanted pictures of the U.S. Volunteers group, which is mostly made up of Vietnamese and Cambodians (according to my dad).  I'm not really sure why he wanted photos of this group, but that's what he asked for (the group reminded me of photos of ( Read more... )

Tomorrow Diana embarks upon the next big stage of her life: medical school in Poland!  She'll be away for four years, but there might be the slim chance that she could spend her last year of internship in California.  But, even anywhere in the United States would still be a lot closer than Poland.  Thank God for Skype, cell phones, and basically ( Read more... )
