One of my Tumblr friends has just begun reading The Lymond Chronicles and she is loving it.

Yeah. Except for the part where they are killing me.

Reading about a love triangle sucks.

Especially when you want the person in the middle to end up with Character B, but you know, you just know that the author will let Character C win.

And especially so when you're pretty darn sure that Character B will nobly sacrifice themselves, thus paving the way for Character C to win.

*whimper*

I finished A Dance With Dragons last night.

I couldn't sleep for crying. For grieving.

Six years I waited for this. I would sooner never have read a word.

Damn you GRRM. Damn you.

A chance remark in an e-mail from melodywilde sent me to IMDB today, only to end up on the page for Atonement. Cue a hasty lunge for the Back button!

Both books 3 and 6 of the Lymond Chronicles came today in the mail. So now I have the whole series, and that makes me a very happy EMB. I was so desperate not to finish book 2 today that I even went out to lunch this afternoon, instead of sitting at my desk reading, as I have done for the past couple weeks ( Read more... )
