Curse you, US Postal System!
A fitting post on the day they raise stamp prices yet again...
Last week I ordered the last four books in the Lymond Chronicles series. I bought them all in one go, but from four different used booksellers scattered throughout the country. At the time, I had just started reading Book 2. I jokingly told ladyofastolat, "Just you watch. I'll get Book 6 first, and Book 3 last."
Well, guess what?
I am now within sight of finishing Book 2.
Books 4 and 5 have arrived.
Anyone want to take odds that Book 6 will arrive in tomorrow's mail, leaving me high and dry until Book 3 arrives?
*grumbles*
