Yesterday I walked along the canal with Tam. We topped the hill and I was taken aback by the sunlight, the water, the beauty. I said I was feeling optimistic. Went to Edinburgh with C last weekend. Stayed in a beautiful hotel I found on laterooms - huge high bed and a stunning view out the window, all the way to Fettes. Walked down by the Leith to get there, nearly got run over by small children cycling.
