Rugby party was very fun.  There was much booze and music and dancing.  There were also drunk ruggers attempting to do a line out lift, and at one point we set up two scrums and went at each other.  I played prop, the one and only time I will ever be a forward.  We also sang Chicago at one point, amusement for all the non-ruggers in attendance.  I ( Read more... )

Practice kind of sucked today. It was our first practice since daylight savings, and it was so dark so early that we didn't get anything done. We basically stood in a circle and passed the ball for half an hour and then left. We beat Ursinus today, 37-0. A big statement securing our 31-0 win against them in the scrimmage match earlier in the season. They haven't lost a game all season, other then to us, and this is the third straight time that we've shut them out ( Read more... )

Rugby today was incredible. We had a full contact practice, where we pretty much spent the entire two hours playing scrimmage rugby against ourselves. Except it was on a small coned off area of the pitch, so there wasn't really room to run like a back, so everyone was playing like forwards.
