It looks like I'm going to be an effing secretary or something - that's what the girl I'm replacing basically told me today, that I more or less work as a personal assistant to one of the sub-bosses. Plus, of course, the rest of the team also bosses you around. WTF ( Read more... )

The good news of today: Due to the combined powers of BMW's HR department's regulation and my school's requirements, I will only have to stay 20 weeks for my internship, until September 18th. Skating last night was nice; the contrast between inside the rink and outside was so crazy - it was really warm out yesterday. I taught myself how to do brackets - not that complicated if you can do both three turns and counters. What I don't get is how they do them in step sequences, several in a row - I can only do one at a time. And it looks so ( Read more... )

I kind of want to apply, obviously!
But the jobs... they sound kinda sucky. They have two spots - PR and B2B Marketing - but it mainly sounds like office work, making phone calls, database maintenance. I think I'll try to apply for the PR job, though. I mean - it's FIGURE SKATING.
