I have no intention to get all existential and crap about this, but I was thinking about it during my walk to campus today.

People...quit bitching about Indiana. So we're not prepared for an amount of snow that we get only about every 4 or 5 years here in Indy? That's a problem all of a sudden? There are many, many juncos in my backyard eating what I put out for them.

Life is good.

Usually when the area schools are canceled Butler is, too. I mean, I guess I understand. I just don't enjoy walking to class when it's -13 degrees. At least we're not a big school!

I'm tired. Mostly emotionally, but also physically. I'm not the kind of person who can engage in lots of activities and remain competent in maintaining them. I thought I knew what I was getting into with Indy Opera, and I kind of did, but this is the only time I've gone into production week during actual classes. Blake is currently stuck in Columbus. At this point, I don't know what could be more miserable for him. They had to cancel his graduation party, he doesn't even have his brother and sister around to divert his mother's attention from him. I have teh intarwebz! A really nice guy came and installed both my cable and internet today. He even wiped his feet like 5 times before stepping on the carpet. This guy gets an A. I really want to completely move into the new place today. But it's raining and probably will be all day. Poop. Good thing I moved the mattress and box spring in yesterday, though they are both wrapped in plastic and would not be harmed today.

In other news, I had forgotten how awesome dollar stores are.

There is very little that makes you feel as peaceful as watching snow fall. It's magical and graceful. For some reason, it reminds me of how blessed I am even to be alive.
