Well, the packing has begun. We got official approval the other day that we got the apartment. William set up the electricity, I set my address to change and will transfer U-Verse tomorrow.  I've packed 8 boxes so far and have run out of empty boxes. Hello, blagosphere. Today my family was wondering what the men's version of feminism is called. I figure there's more than one of you who knows.

I've been home a week now. Now that it's at least somewhat clean, it's less frustrating. Awesome Christmas. Minus the part where I was reminded of my suspicion that my family sees me as that cute, dumb blonde girl who's going to try to make a career out of a hobby. It was a small part, though, so I'll try to forget about it.

We had a little family get-together today in Cincy. I finally got to meet my first-cousin-once-removed (I don't actually know if that's hyphenated, but I think it looks better that way), Calla. I went on Amazon to check out prices for The Rainbow Fish. I plan to give it to my cousin for her baby. It's a book for toddlers, but I have a feeling this child is going to be reading at, I dunno, six months of age or something. Might as well send it now. I have teh intarwebz! A really nice guy came and installed both my cable and internet today. He even wiped his feet like 5 times before stepping on the carpet. This guy gets an A.
