Yes! A three day weekend and it will be a good one. I have one week to go until I see Wicked! (Guess how excited I am!) Chenthu is coming down today and we are going hang out. One month until I get to go see Wicked! I have been waiting to see the show since college. I cannot wait.

The roomie and I went to see Rent today. It stared the two original actors who played Mark and Roger on Broadway and in the movie. This was the third or fourth time I have seen the show. I told the roomie it would be the last time I saw it and that the only reason I was going was because she had never seen it before.

The Wicked tickets are here!!! I am so excited. There is no way I am going to be able to wait until September. I had better get that music playing on my iPod…if I am this excited now how I am going to be acting the week before the show? That is a scary thought!

The roomie and I just purchased tickets to see Rent this summer. The show is staring Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal. They played the original Mark and Rodger on Broadway and in the movie version of Rent!

I have seen the show two times but Andrea has not seen it. She enjoyed the movie version so I think she will like the Broadway show even more.

I have tickets to see WICKED!!!!! I have been wanting to see the Broadway show for years and Defying Gravity is my favorite song (I get goose bumps every time I hear it). The 5th Avenue Theater in Seattle is awesome! It is surrounded by shops like Louis Vuitton and Gucci (I do not shop at either store and have no desire to but it reminded me a bit of a outdoor shopping area in Japan). Across the street from the theater is a restaurant called Bottom of the Rock which is also a brewery. The roomie and I ate there ( Read more... )

This weekend we will be heading to another Broadway show at the 5th Avenue Theater. The roomie got a really good deal on tickets for Hello Dolly starting Jenifer Lewis and Pat Cashman. I have only seen the movie once and I don’t remember too much of it so the show will be something new and exciting to see.
