I cannot wait! Wicked here I come!
I have tickets to see WICKED!!!!! I have been wanting to see the Broadway show for years and Defying Gravity is my favorite song (I get goose bumps every time I hear it). Not only do I have tickets but I am going to be sitting on the main floor almost in the center of the row! The show isn’t until September but I am already freaking out!!! I cannot wait. The tickets were my birthday present to myself. I think they are going to be the best present I have bought myself so far.
For those of you who don’t know the story it is the prequel to The Wizard of Oz. It tells the story of Elphaba (the Wicked Witch of the West) who ends up rooming with Glinda (the Good Witch of the North) in college. The story tells of their friendship and how they ended up the way they were. Of course it is more complicated than that but everyone should just go and see the show themselves. (Side note, most of it takes place before Dorothy landed in Oz.)
I have never seen the show but my roommate has (and I am totally jealous). I do however have the entire soundtrack memorized and I haven’t heard a bad thing about the show. I cannot believe it is coming here!!
