The roomie was overjoyed to discover that the library system here has manga and anime. She went out, reserved the latest Fruits Baskets manga, and put the Prince of Tennis DVDs on hold. Last night I taught my new class at Yomo. Well, it really is not a new class per say. My three siblings from my Wednesday night beginner’s class decided they wanted to have another class on Monday nights so I am teaching them twice a week. Last night we went over colors, numbers, and the ABCs.

So I found some other interesting things about the school system here. It turns out that the teachers move with the students. So when the students move up a grade the teachers do also. I don’t know how I feel about this…on one hand you really get to know your teachers but on the other you are stuck with the same learning style. I guess I find it ( Read more... )

It is over…I have watched the last two episodes of Prince of Tennis. Andrea and I watched them on Saturday and I will admit that I cried a little. The last two episodes focused on Ryoma (the Prince of Tennis) and his game against his Captain Tezuka. I won’t give away details because I think Chenthuran might watch most of the series!

I have two episodes left of the Prince of Tennis; Andrea and I watched the Fuji/Tezuka match tonight and those were three good episodes. Tezuka is the captain of the school tennis team and Fuji is the tennis genius.
