The weekend was laidback and fun! Andrea, Beth, Kevin, and I took advantage of it being the first of the month and went to see a movie. On the first of the month the tickets are $10 dollars instead of $18. We went to see Beowulf.

I started watching Gokusen 2 last night and I am not sure what I think of it. I am only on episode 4 but the original Gokusen had me hooked from episode 2.

Yesterday was TV night at my apartment. Brooke, Katie, Jana, and Andrea came over and we watched Thursday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy and episode four of Hana Yori Dango: Returns.

I went to Tokyo with Andrea and Katie on Saturday. We went to Ebisu Garden to see a photo exhibit at a museum. The nature exhibit was great, the first part focused on wild life. There were pictures of bald eagles, foxes, brown bears, polar bears, and many other kinds of animals. One of the pictures was of a black bear eating a salmon and it was so ( Read more... )

Jana and I have started watching Hana Yori Dango Returns. It is the continuation of Hana Yori Dango and it picks up a year after the first season ended. The F4 have graduated from High School and Domyoji Tsukasa is studying business in the USA and Makino Tsukushi is in her final year of high school.

The past couple of days have been exhausting.

On Saturday, I had to work because the PTA came to visit the school. Hot and humid, that is the only way to describe the weather. I woke up today, it was already 76 degrees with 60% humidity, and the high for today is 81 degrees. It has been like this every day this week. I am really glad that Jana and I went summer clothes shopping last Saturday because if I was wearing my khaki pants I think I might die.
