       Another busy day, catching up on things that should have been done long ago, but at least they are done now.   The main things today were: Clearing the last of the odds-and-ends out of the Living Room, installing the blinds on the Living Room window, and installing a cat-door on the Master Bedroom door.

     It became official today!

All of the conditions on the sale of my house in Calgary have been met or waived, and the house is now OFFICIALLY SOLD!!!  :)

This take a huge load off my mind, as I will no longer have to worry about paying ultilities, insurance, taxes, or a mortgage on the property!  That's a savings of close to $2k a month ( Read more... )

     We have a new member of the family now, a mutt named "Nash" that we adopted from the Swift Current SPCA.  Nash is (as far as anyone can tell) a cross of Elkhound, Husky, and German Shepherd.  He doesn't really look like any of them, he's just a black dog with a white toe on his left hind foot, but he's bright-eyed and very friendly.  In the ( Read more... )
